My name is Heather Carr, and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This will be my eighth year teaching. I look forward to a year filled with unlimited learning experiences and fun times. I am from the Lebanon area and have earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Cumberland University. I am married with three children. We have 2 dogs, named Waylon and Bennie. I love spending time with my family, going to the lake, and vacationing on the beach.

Welcome to 2nd grade! I am looking forward to partnering with you to motivate your kids toward success in everything they do! I grew up a couple of miles down the road from Howard Elementary, where I attended Sumner County schools Kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!) and I am currently getting my Master’s at Cumberland University. My husband, Chris, and I live in Hendersonville with our golden retriever, Nash. I love to travel, spend time with my friends and family, and read. I attend along Hollow Baptist Church, where I have been a member my whole life. On the weekends you can either find me in downtown Nashville eating pizza or tacos or curled up on the couch with Netflix and a bowl of Ben and Jerry’s. I love teaching and I am excited for a great year at Howard!!
